Gosling
Gosling is a large dual-aspect bedroom decorated in the Arts and Crafts style, with an amazing original 1924 rug made for the British Empire Exhibition taking centre stage on the wooden floorboards. The antique silver main light has hand-made copper leaves suspended from it, whilst the Arts and Crafts wardrobe and dressing table also have unusual copper handles. The ornately carved king-sized bed has a medium firm mattress for those who want something a bit more supportive. The bed also has no end above the mattress, perfect for anyone who is very tall.

Byrne
Byrne is a very spacious bedroom on the southeast side of the house looking towards the lake in the distance. The room has a French air, a fabulous ornate king-sized bed, a heavily carved wardrobe, and pretty bedside tables. The walls are the most beautiful shade of green with large Persian rugs, a green leather armchair and exposed wooden floor which all add to the country house chic.

Gwilt
Gwilt is a beautiful light and airy dual aspect bedroom, with far reaching views of the Shropshire hills to the south. The exposed light wooden floor dotted with rugs is complemented by the Edwardian Ash furniture, a French king-sized bed and an elegant chaise longue. There are also two large original built-in cupboards providing a huge amount of storage on either side of the original fireplace, so this room is ideal for those who simply cannot pack light.

Atcherley
Atcherley is a very cosy twin bedroom on the southeast side of the house. The antique chinoiserie beds give the room an oriental flavour, whilst the magnificent compactum adds a bit of grandeur. The ochre and black colour scheme and fitted carpet give the room a rich opulent ambience.

Coleridge
As the only downstairs bedroom, Coleridge is a calm neutral-toned twin bedroom that faces southeast with walnut beds, oak compactum and an unusual dressing table. This room is perfect for anyone wanting peace and quiet away from the others. It is also ideal for anyone who does not want to climb any stairs. The ensuite is a wetroom style and has a very wide door, so it is easily accessible. This bedroom is the second with its own TV and has a fitted carpet with no rugs.

Gough
The rich colours in this bedroom give it a warm Art Nouveau feel. A magnificent main light in the form of a flying nymph gives the room an atmospheric glow. The beautiful king-sized bed with French marble-topped bedside cabinets and Edwardian red walnut furniture are combined with heavy velvet William Morris curtains and a striking Persian rug on a fitted carpet.

The Games Room
This is another large dual aspect room with dramatic red walls dominated by the ¾ sized snooker table, which can also be used for pool. There are two very large Tetrad sofas and a large Smart TV with an X Box games console. This is a great room for everyone to entertain themselves with a competition or two.

The Lounge
An airy, very large dual aspect room flooded with light, decorated in neutral tones, on the south corner of the house. This is a formal room, beautifully decorated with antique paintings and furniture, with large comfortable Tetrad sofas arranged around the original fireplace that now contains a modern log burner. It is the perfect place to chat and catch up with friends and family. This room also incorporates a large table and chairs perfect for playing board games together, or maybe a communal jigsaw. Some games are provided.

The Morning Room
This is a cosy south east facing oak panelled snug/TV room with an open fire. The room has two large Tetrad sofas with a large Oled TV ideal for some of the guests to watch a film or two together. The stunning oak panelling in this room is from the interior of the original Marton Hall with carving on the built in cupboard dating it to 1666.

The Dining Room
The magnificent oak panelling and dual aspect make the formal dining room a grand room, a fabulous place for a celebratory meal for everyone around the amazing Jacobean table. The modern log burner and ambient lighting really ramp up the atmosphere in this stunning room. The dining room also houses an extensive contemporary library and a leather armchair for anyone wanting to escape the other guests for a quiet read when dining is over.
